3D Cubes Unlimited is a simply-designed puzzle game that mixes word skills and logic to come up with an interesting way to pass a few hours.
The idea behind 3D Cubes Unlimited is this - you are presented with a word written on the ground and 3D blocks representing the letters in that word. You must maneuver the blocks until they are in line with the word, making sure they are facing the right way. When they are correctly aligned, they'll light up, and when all blocks are in the right place, you move on to the next level.
3D Cubes Unlimited is quite challenging, especially as you move on to higher levels. There are 60 levels, 3 difficulty levels and it is also available in Spanish and French, all good for giving your brain cells a stretch. From a conceptual point of view, in fact, 3D Cubes Unlimited is quite playable.
Unfortunately, the game's graphics are terrible. Each 3D Cubes Unlimited puzzle is set on a island that floats around an illuminous ocean, bumping into other islands as you work. The graphics look like a bad example of a game from the last decade and in this day and age, they just don't cut it.
3D Cubes Unlimited is a challenging puzzle, but nowhere near as fascinating as it would need to be for us to forgive the terrible graphics.
